Dr. Salih is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in monitoring, evaluation, and data analysis. He holds a BSc (Honours) in Applied Statistics & Demography from Gezira University (1994), an M.Sc. in Development Studies from the University of Medical Sciences & Technology (2016), and an MBA in Total Quality Management from the same institution (2008). 

Dr. Salih ‘s career spans over two decades, with a focus on designing and implementing effective monitoring and evaluation systems. His roles include: 

• Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant at Alathar Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Aug 2022 – Present). 
• National Monitoring and Evaluation Consultant for Landell Mills, Sudan (Jul 2020 – Jun 2022). 
• Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist for the Basic Education Project in Sudan (Sep 2009 – Dec 2020). 
• Part-Time Lecturer in Statistics and M&E at various Sudanese universities (Apr 2003 – Aug 2009). 
• Head of Department of Agricultural Statistics & M&E at Gezira Scheme, Sudan (May 2001 – Feb 2003). 
• Lecturer of Statistics at Gezira University, Sudan (Dec 1994 – Jan 2001).

Throughout his career, Dr. Salih has designed and conducted rigorous evaluations, developed data collection strategies, and implemented M&E systems and tools. He has ensured the standardization of data collection methodologies, enabling effective analysis across diverse target groups. His work also emphasizes knowledge sharing, capacity building, and promoting coordination between local actors and INGOs. Additionally, Dr. Salih has prepared and analyzed M&E reports, ensuring compliance with project requirements and contributing to informed decision-making through data analysis. 

His expertise extends to agricultural data collection and reporting, where he has supported decision-making processes at the Board of Directors level. Dr. Salih is dedicated to promoting learning exchanges and fostering sustainable monitoring and evaluation practices.
