ECfTR has extensive experience in conducting multi-sector assessments and studies across Sudan, addressing critical issues such as natural resource management, poverty alleviation, urbanization, and the needs of refugee populations. Our work includes baseline surveys on food security and livelihoods, market studies in Eastern Sudan, and evaluations of HIV/AIDS awareness programs. We have also carried out humanitarian assessments, including needs surveys for IDP camps in Darfur and evaluations of refugee and host community situations in Gedaref. 2009: Evaluated the Urban Livelihood Project (2007-2009) in Red Sea State, funded by the Danish Embassy and implemented by Oxfam GB.
2008: Conducted an evaluation of the Urban Livelihood Programme in Red Sea State, supported by Band Aid and Oxfam GB.
2006: Developed a strategic plan for rehabilitation, recovery, and development in Red Sea State (2007-2009), in collaboration with UNDP, the Ministry of Finance, and the Department of Economic Planning and International Cooperation.
2008: Mapped and assessed the capacity of civil society in Red Sea State for the UNDP Governance Unit Senior Programme Office.
2008: Conducted a child protection assessment using participatory rapid appraisal techniques in selected localities of Red Sea State for Save the Children Fund-UK.
